The only District 2 candidiate with an A rating

The Committee for a Better Atlanta (CBA) is a nonpartisan coalition of business and civic organizations dedicated to promoting a thriving Atlanta. Each election, they ask candidates to complete a 10-page questionnaire and conduct extensive interviews to score candidates for local office based on the strength of their responses in key areas.

Courtney was the only candidate in the District 2 race to receive an “A” score from CBA. The rest of the field was a distant second or refused to participate in this important candidate review.

This rating acknowledges the depth of knowledge and expertise Courtney brings to the office and is a testament to her 12 years of service in the Atlanta community, at City Hall and in communty-centered non-profits.

Kenneth Boone, Former MNA Board Member and Midtown Resident

Stormie Israel, Midtown Resident

“I was fortunate to have Courtney as a neighbor in the Midtown Garden District for nearly five years. Together, we cleaned up trash, rounded up abandoned traffic cones, planted so many flowers, and strategized new ways to help and improve our community. Courtney was our trusted “go-to problem solver” for all things and we knew she’d find a creative way to get the job done.”

Matthew Peterson, Downtown Resident

Progress & Service

I’ve been a volunteer, committee member, board trustee, task force member, chairperson.  I’ve learned a great deal in every role and worked with skillful teams. We delivered real results.  Serving as Chairperson of NPU-E and Midtown Neighbors’ Association President catapulted my understanding of thoughtful city governance and how to nurture healthy thriving neighborhoods that reflect a shared vision. As a leading voice for our community, I’ve navigated the same issues City Council grapples with: everything from housing to transportation, public safety to infrastructure, and modernization to licensing.

Time and again, I’ve shown that I’m the person who studies the details, shows up, listens and offers a path forward. I am a consensus builder.

When elected, the District 2 community will have my full attention and deep passion for representing your best interests at City Hall. Because that’s how I was raised. I am the grandchild of Delaware farmers and the daughter of a military veteran and a pediatric nurse. My family showed me that, when you raise your hand, you go all in. You give your absolute best. This is my call to service and I have the skills to deliver for our city.
